The Comet 31s is the latest of Comar Yachts’ little ones, with the Comet 2s and the Comet 26s, it closes the new range of boats designed by Sergio Lupoli, which Massimo Guardigli wanted to encourage sailing and bring even those who, for the first time, he wants to have fun with his own boat as a family. In particular, this Comet 31 has been designed to offer maximum comfort and manageability to a family of four, with the possibility of 2 beds for guests. With a sporty approach, the Comet 31, despite being a small boat, is decidedly large in the interior and well finished, in order to make the stay on board pleasant even in the case of small cruises. The construction system is all in double laminated leather in vacuum casting and post-cured at 70 degrees. The entire “bottom spider” structure is laminated together with the hull. Very bright in the interior, with light textured walls, large windows and simple furnishings, the C31 has an internal height of about 1.90 meters (less only in the forward cabin) and a very large aft cabin. The cockpit is remarkable with long benches so that the side benches are a comfortable sundeck. The paramar is designed to be ergonomic for cruising and racing. The sail plan is with a top square mainsail. The dolphin line, created to allow the use of the Gennaker, completely hides the anchor, completely freeing the bow.
